Braunschweig/Germany, – A separate measuring system for each measuring task - this philosophy is a thing of the past. Today, due to economic reasons, measurement equipment must be applicable in a versatile way. AICON’s answer to this requirement is the new system concept MoveInspect Technology for the measurement of 3D coordinates.
MoveInspect Technology is based on a unique modular system that allows the user to combine the individual components such as sensor, probe and computer with the appropriate software in order to meet the exact requirements of a measurement task.
Thus MoveInspect Technology masters an abundance of measuring tasks with just one single system. For future measuring tasks, the purchase of completely new systems becomes superfluous as the user merely needs to add other components from the MoveInspect Technology product line to his current system. This combination of versatility and efficiency is absolutely unique in the market of 3D measurement systems.
Both the software and the handling concept of all MoveInspect Technology configurations are standardized. The systems’ intuitive user-interface guarantees that the operator can quickly set up his measuring system for each measuring task. No time-consuming calibration is necessary, and neither are long worm-up times. Even in the basic version of the standard software platform, a wide range of functions is available for project administration, coordinate evaluation and reporting.
Beyond that, all MoveInspect Technology components are transportable making it simple to take the measuring machine to any site location for direct application. The individual configurations cover a wide range of applications: The systems will measure parts from a few millimeters up to many meters in size.
MoveInspect Technology is applicable for probing, tracking and targeting and solves both static and dynamic measurement tasks. In case of dynamic measurements, movements can be acquired with a frequency of up to 1000Hz while measuring an infinite number of points over a variably long period of time. Fast analyses deliver the basis for direct, on-site decisions, for example for corrections in running production.Â
